Chartered cruise times are based on up to 3 hours, Cruise time is calculated from the time of boarding. Chartered events must be booked directly through our office.

Special Discounted Pricing

will be available to you at reduced rate during any cruise time slot.

POLICIES

The undersigned hereby acknowledges receipt of the following list of conditions in which M.S. River Rouge agrees to provide cruise and catering services.

Charter: The only time you will be guaranteed exclusivity of an individual deck or of the entire ship is when you reserve a private deck or ship charter. When chartering, food selections are available at an additional rate. A minimum of 60 Guests are required in order to reserve the upper deck, minimum of 100 Guests are required to reserve the lower deck, all guests aboard will have access to the exterior of the ship unless a full ship charter is booked. When chartering an individual deck we will do our best to ensure that general passengers do not enter your deck during your event. Please refer to the Ship Charter Price Guide for more information

Requirements:

Sunset Cruise Charters: must guarantee 160 passengers; any less than 160, you are then required to pay $20.00x the amount of passengers needed to reach our minimum requirement of 160 passengers. The remaining outstanding difference must be paid in full & obtained only by a member of our office staff or management, prior to ship departure.

Late Night Cruise Charters: must guarantee 200 passengers; any less than 200, you are required to pay $15.00x the amount of passengers needed to reach our minimum requirement of 200 passengers. The remaining outstanding difference must be paid in full & obtained only by a member of our office staff or management, prior to ship departure.

Our representatives will accept: cash, debit, or credit ONLY. No personal cheques will be accepted at any given time. NO exceptions.

Deposit: All deposits must be received 5 days upon confirmation of the reservation. Deposits are non-refundable, however transferable for another available date in the same year. The deposit amount is based on 50% of the total price of booking

Balance: Full payment must be made two days prior to the date of the function.

Food & Beverage Prices: Prices quoted are subject to change due to market conditions. Prices will be guaranteed only 14 days prior to function date. All catering of food and beverages must be provided by M.S. River Rouge. No outside food or beverage is permitted. Any left-over food or beverages upon completion of the function must remain on River Rouge property and may not be removed from our premises due to health regulations, unless prior arrangements have been agreed to in advance by management.

Additional Food & Beverages: In the event of "drop in last minute guests" to your function, or if you wish to order more food and/or wine or any other items or services at the last minute, M.S. River Rouge is authorized to charge appropriate additional fees not previously agreed to within the signed contract.

Extra Fees: Security costs may apply. Gratuity, 5% GST, 7% PST and entertainment/DJ costs are not included in the listed price.

Food Menu: One menu selection must be made for the entire group, however if you require an alternate selection, we can make provisions providing we are given sufficient notice, this is specific to those with dietary restrictions and/or food allergies.

Guarantee of Attendance: An estimated number of passengers must be made 72 hours prior to function date (this number will be the amount by which you are charged for food service(s)) and CONFIRMED 48 hours beforehand. The number you confirm is what will be charged for or the actual number served, whichever is larger. M.S. River Rouge may have to serve a substitute menu if your numbers go beyond the guaranteed figure. A slight delay may occur in this event.

Storage: Our catering department must be notified in advance and with authorization from our office of any deliveries for any functions held on board our ship. Previous arrangements must be made and articles will only be stored for up to 12 hours before the function date. M.S. River Rouge will not be responsible for any items left or stolen on our premises before and after the completion of the function.

Damages: Any damages caused to the property of the M.S. River Rouge, whether it be on shore or aboard our ship, the undersigned will automatically be charged for the cost of repairs or replacements of damaged goods and/or properties.

Music: No outside music service providers are permitted to supply DJ services on the M.S. River Rouge as we provide our own in house services. In the event that an exception is made from our head office, no DJ equipment is to be brought aboard at any time, an additional equipment rental fee will be applied towards the use of the in-house lighting/sound system. All the previous stated still applies for the exceptions of lap tops used for playlist purposes given the specifics of your chosen event.

Inspections and Security Checks: The M.S. River Rouge reserves the right to inspect personal articles, scan with a security wand and/or request the removal of jackets, shoes, etc. if under any suspicion whatsoever. M.S. River Rouge also reserves the right to refuse any person or persons aboard the ship at our discretion and/or suspicion of potential misconduct. Duffel bags and knapsacks are not allowed aboard our ship unless special permission has been granted by our General Office, and/or Captain. These items could be subject to inspection by our Security or Captain before boarding the ship. Everyone that boards the ship must carry Photo I.D. with him or her and the M.S. River Rouge reserves the right to ask for this identification at any time before and during the course of the cruise. M.S. River Rouge reserves the right to utilize any Photos/ Video taken during the cruise for both security, advertising and or promotional purposes at our discretion. M.S. River Rouge is not responsible for articles left behind on our property, nor will we be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.

Provincial Laws: All provincial laws governing the purchase and consumption of food and beverages will be strictly observed. Absolutely no food or beverages are to be brought on or off the ship.

Advertising: Any advertising that entails using the River Rouge name and or logo must be approved by M.S. River Rouge Management in advance prior to its use.

Responsibility: The payment of all charges and any additional charges including collection, NSF charges and/or legal court costs that may be incurred will automatically be the responsibility of the undersigned and/or the organization he or she represents.

Acts Of Nature: M.S. River Rouge will not be held responsible for delays or cancellations of a cruise or function on our ship, due to high waters, strong winds, heavy rains, mechanical breakdown of equipment or engines of the ship, and any sudden climatic conditions where the Captain may feel it to be hazardous to both the ship and passengers to sail. The Captain's decision is final. The liability of M.S. River Rouge shall be strictly limited to the amount of any consideration paid pursuant to this agreement. The undersigned and the establishment he/she represents waive all claims of any kind.
